Hello Virginia Nader Supporters!

Well, the election is over and thanks to your efforts, we've won! No, not the White House, but a moral victory which transcends the office of the President. A victory which would have been impossible without your faith in a better world, your dedication to the good fight, and your daily commitment to us and to Ralph.

Since the election was conceded, we've heard from a lot of the "Anyone But Bush" Democrats and liberals. They're feeling pretty bad about themselves and what they're all saying to us is "Damn, I wish I had voted for Nader". They KNOW now how they wasted their votes and how their fears were used to manipulate them. They're ashamed of how they aided and abetted the D.L.C.'s attacks on us and they're ashamed of the lies they helped spread. No claims of "spoiler" can be made this time around, and their support of a candidate who failed to resoundingly defeat the worst President in U.S. history is nothing short of a complete embarrassment. And they know it.

They laid down for the devil while you stood up for your principles. They took millions in funding from the corporations and Republicans while you sold t-shirts and decks of cards. They hired high-priced lawyers who worked to deny us ballot access while you collected signatures in the heat and rain. They spouted rhetoric about democracy while you were threatened, harassed, beaten, and abused.

But we've won! YOUR sacrifices have gained us a victory and constructed a foundation of opportunity upon which we can rebuild bridges and pour the concrete of our hopes and dreams for the future. And though this one campaign may be at an end, it is really just a beginning; the first step on a longer journey to take back our country from the corporations and to establish liberty and justice for all.

So stay tuned, keep in touch, and please understand that words can only begin to express the depth of our gratitude for your efforts and contributions. From both of us here in Virginia, and on behalf of Ralph, Theresa, Jason, and all the staff in D.C., our sincerest thanks.
